Meteorite Destroyer Strategy Guide
Score-Boosting Tactics
- Break big rocks into pieces before they get near your ship — a huge meteorite left alone just splits into smaller, faster junk later, and that's usually when things go sideways.
- Keep your ship drifting rather than sitting still. Old-school physics means momentum carries you, so tap the thrust in short bursts instead of holding it like a gas pedal.
- Save the teleport for actual emergencies. It's your panic button, not a toy, and burning it early leaves you stuck when a wall of debris finally boxes you in.
- Rotate before you need to fire, not after. Lining up shots a half-second early saves you from getting clipped while you're still spinning around.
- Watch for the enemy spaceships mixed in with the rock field — they don't behave like meteors, so treat every wave a little differently.
- Don't get greedy chasing every last chunk on screen. Sometimes the smarter move is dodging past a cluster and picking off what's left once it's spread out.
The setup is simple and honestly kind of charming in that old arcade way: asteroid belters have shoved meteors and rogue asteroids toward Earth, and it's on you, alone in a little ship, to blast a path through before the planet gets flattened. There's no elaborate story here, just you, a field of tumbling rock, and the occasional hostile ship trying to make your day worse. The whole point is survival — rack up points by clearing debris, dodge what you can't destroy in time, and see how long you last before the field overwhelms you.
Control Scheme
- W accelerates your ship forward through open space.
- A and D rotate your ship left and right to aim.
- Space or C fires your weapon at incoming rocks and enemies.
- S activates teleport, letting you blink out of a tight spot instantly.
