• Steer your ship with WASD or the arrow keys on desktop, or the virtual stick if you're playing on a phone.
• Hit Space to fire your laser gun at incoming rocks and hostile ships alike.
• Keep your ship moving at all times, sitting still in an asteroid field is basically asking for a hull breach.
• Blast asteroids for currency, then pump that cash back into your ship's handling, speed, or durability.
• Save up long enough and you can retire your starter ship entirely for something with more muscle.
• Watch your health bar closely, because a couple of sloppy hits can end a run faster than you'd expect.

There's something oddly calming about drifting through a field of tumbling space rock, right up until three of them converge on your position at once. Cosmic Combat leans into that old-school arcade tension: cold, empty space, a lone pilot, and rocks that don't care about your flight plan. The war part comes from rival ships mixed in with the asteroid chaos, forcing you to juggle dodging debris and returning fire in the same breath. It's not a story-heavy trip, more of a mood, isolation, static, the low hum of your engine between laser bursts. That atmosphere is really the hook here, not dialogue or cutscenes.
