Cosmic Shooter 2: The Road To The Championship
There's no slow ramp-up here, no tutorial hand-holding you through the basics for five minutes while nothing happens. You're strapped into a fighter craft the moment things kick off, and the sky is already crowded with alien hulls that clearly don't want you around. The setup is simple: waves of invaders pour down from above, your job is to clear them out before they clear you out, and the missions get meaner the further you push. Some stretches feel almost calm, just a few scattered ships drifting into your crosshairs, and then without warning the screen fills up and you're weaving through crossfire with your thumb glued to the fire trigger. It's arcade shooting stripped down to its rawest form, and that's exactly the appeal.
Score-Boosting Tactics
- Keep drifting, don't sit still — parked ships are the first ones picked off.
- Watch enemy formations for a beat before diving in; most of them repeat the same attack pattern.
- Pick off smaller fighters first so they stop clogging your firing lane.
- Save aggressive pushes for when a gap opens up in enemy fire, not when you're boxed in.
- Grab any power-up drops immediately — they usually vanish fast if you hesitate.
- Stay near the edges of the screen when things get crowded; it gives you more room to dodge sideways.
Controller & Keyboard Guide
- Move your fighter by dragging with the mouse — the ship follows your cursor directly, no delay to fight against.
- Touch controls work the same way on mobile, just tap and slide where you want to go.
- Firing is automatic in most stretches, so your only real job is positioning yourself where the shots actually land.
- Small, quick movements beat big sweeping ones when enemies are swarming close together.
- Keep your hand relaxed on the mouse — tension makes your reactions slower right when you need them sharpest.
